Brian Groner

Brian Groner returns to Birch Creek to conduct the Symphony Orchestra’s Fourth of July performance in 2025. A longtime favorite at Birch Creek, Groner led the Symphony Orchestra for 28 seasons. His distinguished career includes a 23-year tenure as Music Director of the Fox Valley Symphony in Appleton, WI, as well as past leadership roles with the Fox Valley Orchestra in Illinois and the Midwest Mozart Festival. As a guest conductor, he has led renowned ensembles such as the Shenzhen Symphony (China), the San Diego Symphony, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra (Prague), and the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra. His performances have been broadcast nationally by NPR in over 50 major cities, and he has conducted world premieres of more than 20 significant American compositions.
