Birch Creek Opens its 2023 Season with “Percussion at the Movies”
On Thursday, June 22, Birch Creek Music Performance Center will present its opening night concert – “Percussion at the Movies” – on the Stage of Stars inside the historic Dutton Concert Barn. Opening night at Birch Creek is a festive gathering of concertgoers, returning faculty, new students, donors, volunteers and local businesses celebrating the much-anticipated 2023 season of Percussion, Steel Pan & World Music; Symphony and Big Band Jazz concerts. This year marks Birch Creek’s 48th year of excellence in music education and world-class concert performances.

Known for its acclaimed summer music academy for young musicians, Birch Creek’s expanded programming serves the music performance desires of adult learners. The Wind Ensemble Retreat, Chamber Music Retreat, and newly launched Piano Retreat all offer a supportive and encouraging environment for adult musicians to refine their music performance skills while enjoying the beauty of Door County, Wisconsin.
